...money can buy.
Unfortunately, Nissan keeps its, Duster based, Terrano only for emerging markets.
Hey Nissan-Renault, America needs inexpensive, simple SUV's, too.

Considering it costs less than £10,000 and is better off road than a X5, Escalade or RX, I think that is fair.

Not big enough. 'Muricans scoff at puny micro SUVs.
(No they don't actually, but this is what the marketing people will say)

They probably don't sell the Terrano here because of the countries where it and the Terrano are built.
Romania (most, if not all Americans don't consider this a country where 'quality' cars are made), Brazil (same), Columbia (history of drug cartels and crime), Russia (because Russia), India (just like Romania and Brazil), and Indonesia.
The best chance we could get one is if they suddenly decided to start building them in Mexico.

I've no idea how you persuade horses to get close to THAT.

Would love to try the Duster one day. Cheap, decent off-roader with minimal electronic gadgets to go wrong? Sign me up!

Do people really know or care where their cars are made though? If I went around local dealers tomorrow I could find a Ford B Max (Romania), a Nissan Micra (India), a VW Golf (probably South Africa), a Focus (Germany), a Mondeo (Belgium), a Toyota Aygo (Czech Republic), a Toyota Auris (UK), a Fiat 500 (Poland), a VW Beetle (Mexico), an Audi TT Hungary), a Ford Ranger (Thailand), a Nissan Qashqai (UK), a Renault Clio (Slovenia) and so on. None of these are normally associated with these countries but it doesn't appear to put anyone off.

Why would you that? The Nissan badge is much more attractive, you can find it on things like the GT-R, Z, Murano, and WEC cars.

IMO, the Duster looks better as a Dacia, Especially in the rear
